Fifi - 12yr old Silky Cross Female - In Rehab
March 2025 Fifi's vetwork is finally complete and she's on the road to recovery.
She had; Comprehensive blood panels, (slightly elevated liver enzyme common in older dogs). Beransa shot for arthritis, Heartworm test, Vaccine, flea, tick treatment, Desexing, Dental with extractions, Chest xray, Mammary masses removed, Dry eye ointment prescribed. She's a fantastic girl who has had a hard life, missing out on essential vet care as she aged. So now we've caught up with everything she's feeling so much better. **** Thank you for the interest in Fifi. She still has a long way to go in rehab. |
Herbie - 9yr old Shih Tzu cross male - In Rehab
April 2025
Herbie is in perfect health but still receiving ointment for his eye ulcer. He has an amazing temperament, loves people and other dogs. He is going on a diet straight away. This chunky monkey needs to lose a couple of kilos. He'll be able to move around much better when he's slimmed down. Herb needs a dental once his weight is under control. |
Ruth - 2yr old Cavoodle Female - In Rehab
April 2025
Poor Ruth. She has a story to tell. If only she could speak human, we'd know more than how shy and emaciated she is. She wasn't even microchipped. Ruth has a blind, deformed eye that will need to be removed. She also needs to be desexed and have a good clean of her stained teefies. She's been chipped, vaccinated, wormed, flea/tick/heartworm treated and is on drops to clean her waxy ears. |
Zuza - 3yr old Maltese cross Female - In Rehab
Chewie - 6yr old Maltese Cross Male - In Rehab
April 2025
Chewie's photo is coming soon. In the meantime, imagine what a small Staffy cross Maltese might look like! That's the best description we can think of. He's a short, chunky, fluffy guy with a heart full of love. Right now, he's busy teaching his carer exactly what kind of home he's going to need. |
Mavis - 10yr old Pomeranian Female - In Rehab
April 2025
Mavis is tiny and she knows it. She's so nervous about being picked up and handled that she can be growly and bitey. She is comfortable with her (female) carer but is very suspicious of even the gentlest of men. Something we'll have to keep slowly working on. Once she is less stressed and our vets can handle her confidently, she will need a dental, desex, vaccination, blood testing, heartworm test and full health check. We already know her home is going to have to be a special one. A 'Tiny Town', especially welcoming and comfortable for tiny dogs. Her friends will need to be very small also. |
Munchkin - 2yr old Terrier Cross Female - In Maternity Care
October 2024
Munchkin and her 3 little babies have their very own page so you can see their story. It will be a while until Munchkin is ready for adoption. She needs to be moved to Sydney to have both patellas done with a specialist once her babies are adopted. Please chip in to her surgery needs. https://gofund.me/1a6e91b7 |
